Book In Review

      “At Night” written by author Jonathan Bean is a glimpse into a young city girl’s life.  She sometimes has trouble sleeping at night while listening to her family quietly sleeping. 

      With a restless mind, she feels the breeze through her bedroom window.  She gathers a pillow and blanket and follows the wind to the roof of her home.  There, she fashions a place in a chair for her spirit to contemplate the world around her. 

      It is here she is finally peaceful enough to rest.   Her mother softly rests her hand on her child and absorbs some of the same peace that her daughter has found, breathing in the cool night air.
